The Edmonton Oilers announced forward Connor Brown will miss Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, head coach Kris Knoblauch confirmed Monday. The update came following the team’s practice session, according to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun.

Brown was injured during Edmonton’s 6-1 victory in Game 3 after absorbing a hit from Stars defenseman Alex Petrovic in the second period. He did not return to the game.

This marks the first game Brown will miss this season. The 30-year-old forward has been a consistent presence in the lineup throughout the regular season and playoffs.

Brown has recorded five goals and eight points through 14 playoff games this postseason.

Knoblauch also provided an update on goaltender Calvin Pickard, noting there’s a chance he could back up Stuart Skinner for Game 4. Pickard has been sidelined since Game 2 of the second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights when forward Tomas Hertl fell on his leg.

The Oilers currently lead the series 2-1 and will look to extend their advantage Tuesday night.

Game 4 is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET in Edmonton.
