Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch announced Monday that winger Connor Brown will return to the lineup for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday.
Brown got injured in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final after taking a hit from Dallas Stars defenseman Alex Petrovic. He missed the next two games.

The Oilers haven’t announced which player will come out of the lineup to make room for Brown.
Viktor Arvidsson took Brown’s spot for Games 4 and 5 of the Western Conference Final. He’ll likely be the one sitting out when Brown returns.
Brown had 13 goals and 17 assists during the regular season, playing in all 82 games. He’s been productive in the playoffs with eight points in 14 games.
The 30-year-old winger has provided depth scoring for Edmonton throughout their playoff run. His return gives the Oilers another veteran presence as they face the Stanley Cup Final.
