The Blues beat the Nashville Predators 4-1 on Sunday night, extending their winning streak to six games.

Jordan Kyrou reached the 30-goal mark for the third consecutive season, while Robert Thomas contributed three assists in the victory.

Brayden Schenn, Alexandre Texier and Justin Faulk also scored for St. Louis, with Jordan Binnington stopping 29 shots.

The win gives the Blues a four-point cushion over Calgary for the second Western Conference wild-card spot.

Nashville, which got its lone goal from Filip Forsberg, has lost five of its last six games. Justus Annunen made 14 saves for the Predators.

Kyrou opened the scoring 12:13 into the first period, putting St. Louis ahead 1-0.

Texier extended the lead to 2-0 with a power-play goal with 3:03 remaining in the opening frame. The goal was his first since February 5.

Forsberg cut Nashville’s deficit to 2-1 with a power-play goal 1:04 into the second period, his 28th of the season.

Faulk restored the Blues’ two-goal advantage 10:30 into the third period with his fourth goal of the season.

Nashville’s playoff hopes are fading quickly. The Predators trail St. Louis by 21 points for the second Western Conference wild-card position with just 12 games remaining.

Dalibor Dvorsky, the 10th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, made his NHL debut for the Blues. His opportunity came with Pavel Buchnevich (illness) and Oskar Sundqvist (maintenance day) out of the lineup.

A confrontation occurred with 6:27 left in the third period when Blues forward Zack Bolduc received a major penalty and game misconduct for cross-checking Nick Blankenburg. The incident happened after Blankenburg stuck out his knee to trip Thomas, resulting in a minor penalty.

St. Louis has gone 12-2-2 in 16 games since returning from the Four Nations Face-Off.

The Predators visit Carolina on Tuesday night, while the Blues host Montreal.
